Expectations in Div. 5


As a student, your job is to:

-Ask great questions

-Bring your supplies to class

-Hand in work on time

-Have a positive attitude

-Respect yourself, your classmates and this space

-Be on time

-Be respectful, be creative, use your imagination

-Participate

-Keep your body quiet when the teacher is teaching or during quiet times

-Try your best and do your part

-Show good listening

-Be kind

-Use positive language (no swearing)

-Use your indoor voice in class

-Use technology wisely

-Stay in bounds

-Keep hands and feet to yourself

-Keep your eyes on your own test

-Clean up when asked

-Ask permission from the adult in charge before leaving the class to visit the washroom or office

-Use sports equipment outside or im the gym, not in class

-Keep an open mind

-Use strategies like deep breaths or counting to 10 when mad

-Speak en français during French blocks


Mme H’s job is to:

-Organize lessons and field trips

-Treat students fairly, listen to students’ ideas

-Create fun group projects

-Bring a positive attitude

-Be organized

-Assign work that helps us learn and perfect students’ skills

-Arrive on time

-Explain and help with new ideas

-Communicate with a student’s parents and guardians when needed

-Be patient

-Give us treats from time to time

-Be understanding and forgiving

-Give some free time

-Play games and teach us to use technology wisely

-Keep an open mind

-Use strategies like deep breaths or counting to 10 when mad

-Speak en français during French blocks
